Classical Tour - 4 Days |

Prehistory, the Classical Period, Roman domination, the Byzantine Empire, the Crusades and Modern Times: Greece through the Centuries will unfold before you on this 4 days tour.
1.st day
Leave by the coastal road along the Saronic Gulf to the Corinth Canal, which connects the Aegean Sea with the Ionian Sea. Short stop here. Drive on and visit the Theatre of Epidauros famous for its remarkable acoustics. Then proceed to the town of Nauplion with a short stop here before we continue to Mycenae, the Homeric city of Atreides – the city “rich in gold” of the ancient poets. Visit the Lion’s Gate, the Cyclopean Walls, the Royal Tombs etc. Depart for Olympia through Central Peloponnese and the towns of Tripolis and Megalopolis. Dinner and overnight in Olympia.
2.nd day
In the morning visit the archaeological site with the Sanctuary of Olympian Zeus, the Ancient Stadium and the archaeological museum. Then drive on through the plains of Eliad and Achaia until the magnificent bridge which is crossing the Corinthian Bay from Rion to Antirion. Pass by the picturesque towns of Nafpaktos (Lepanto) and Itea, arrive in Delphi. Dinner and overnight.
3.rd day
In the morning visit the archaeological site and the museum of Delphi. Depart for Kalambaka, a small town situated at the foot of the astonishing complex of Meteora, gigantic rocks. Dinner and overnight.
4.th. day
Visit Meteora, among striking scenery, perched on top of huge rocks which seem to be suspended in mid-air, stand ageless Monasteries, where you can see exquisite specimens of Byzantine art. Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia, Thermopylae (short stop to see across the road the Leonida’s monument). Arrive in Athens early evening.

From April to October every Monday, Tuesday & Saturday and every Thursday on following dates:
03/04, 17/04, 08/05, 15/05, 22/05, 05/06, 12/06, 26/06, 10/07, 24/07, 07/08, 21/08, 04/09, 18/09, 25/09, 02/10, 16/10.
From November to March every Monday.
Departure time ~ 07:45 hrs., return ~ 18:30 hrs.

Accommodation in 3 or 4 star hotels.
Prices
Price € 490.00 per person for first class hotel accommodation. Single supplement € 114.00.
Price € 428.00 per person for tourist class hotel accommodation. Single supplement € 90.00.
H/B (breakfast and dinner) and entrance fees included.
