Cruise to the Saronic islands |

A lovely day at sea.
Pick up from the hotel around 07:00 hrs. and transfer to Piraeus, from where the cruise starts.
First island to visit is AEGINA, the biggest of the Saronic islands with inhabited from the second century B.C. with important archaeological excavations, such as the Afaia Temple at Agia Marina. Some of the finest pistachios are produced on Aegina, sold at attractive prices. The cruise continues to POROS, the smallest of the islands, just across the peninsula of Peloponnese. Time for a coffee or shopping in the small streets of Poros town, or maybe a walk up hill to the famous clock tower of the island. Last visit is at the island of HYDRA known for its picturesque houses, which has been the favorite spot of many painters, and also for its many jewelry shops. Hydra is a unique island, the only one in Greece, where cars are not allowed and all “traffic” takes place by foot or donkey. Return to Piraeus in the afternoon with music and dances on board the ship. Lunch is served onboard the cruise boat.
